They are often sold by the catalogue companies and so the prices are quite cheap when compared to the other weight lifting brands. The York weight benches are of a very high quality though and will offer all you need for your weight training, they usually offer lots of different weight lifting exercises and many can also work your legs.
There are a wide range of York weight benches available to buy which include basic benches and very advanced multi-gyms. If you simply want basic weight lifting then go for a cheap bench as they will offer that but for more variety you are going to have to spend more for a York weight bench that has more weight training options.
Also bear in mind that you are going to have to buy the weights separately if you buy a weight bench from York as they do not usually come with them.
